Havet ved verdens ende

The book “Havet ved verdens ende” is a part of a project Ken Zier started in 2020. The project is based in National Park Thy, specifically the sea and the area around the small town of Lyngby, where Ken and his wife bought a summerhouse in 2019. The project unfolds in the book via 37 works. These works are linked together in the book by small philosophical bubbles written by Ken’s wife, Berit Køneke.

The project also contains a musical dimension in the form of an LP.

The LP is made specifically to the project. It contains instrumental Nordic fusion jazz written by the two musicians from Aarhus, Emil Zier Christensen and Magnus Munk Tækker.

Helt ude på Helgenæs

33 works have been gathered in the book “Helt ude på Helgenæs”. Helgenæs is a beautiful place close to Ken Zier’s home near Ebeltoft. For every piece, there is a small text and the exact location for the works is also market.

Note that the book is only available in Danish.

One man one beach

The book “One Man One Beach”, is a sample of works from a project Ken Zier made from August 2012 ’til August 2013. Ken sat by the same spot at a beach nearby his home close by Ebeltoft and painted a piece. When the year had passed by, he had 52 works from the same spot. Those 52 works are gathered in this book together with a small despriction.
